Hoa An commune recognized as new style rural area
On March 18th, 2018, the People's Committee of Krong Pac district held a ceremony to announce Hoa An commune to be recognized as a new-style rural area in 2017. The ceremony had the presence of Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep - Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Council, Mr. Vo Tuc - Standing Deputy Secretary of Krong Pac District, Mr. Tran Quoc Vinh - Vice Chairman of Krong Pac People's Committee.

Hoa An commune has the population of 13,574 people living in 18 villages. After 7 years of implementing the national target programme for building new-style rural areas, the local government and people have overcome difficulties and stepped up socio-economic development as well as ensured national defense-security.
Hoa An commune has completed 19 criteria for new-style rural areas with the total cost of VND301 billion, of which VND254 billion was contributed by local residents. 87.6% of households own houses meeting standards for rural housing. 100% of households use electricity and clean water for daily life. 92.12% of people have regular jobs. Trained labor force accounted for 25.5%. The average income per capita reached over VND32 million per year. Rate of poor households decreased to 5.1% in accordance with new standards (2015-2020).
Hoa An Commune was recognized by the provincial People's Committee as meeting new-style rural area standards thanks to its achivements. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hiep - Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Council congratulated and awarded the Certificate of Commitment to the local government and people of Hoa An commune.

On this occasion, Mr. Vo Tuc - Standing Deputy Secretary of Krong Pac district acknowledged and highly appreciated efforts of the commune to be recognized as a new-style rural area. Hoa An is the fifth commune of the district to obtain this achievement. He also expressed his hope that the local government and people would continue to promote its achivement with the aim of maintaining and improving the quality of new-style rural area construction. Moreover, the dialogues between the government and people should be well implemented to promote democracy, internal resources for the purpose of improving the local people's material and spiritual lives, developing Hoa An commune comprehensively.

Aiming to bring into play the achieved criteria, the People's Committee of Hoa An Commune launched the emulation movement for 2018 and the following years. Recognizing outstanding results in the new-style rural areas construction movement, the district-level People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 02 collectives, 12 individuals. The communal-level People's Committee also presented certificates of merit to 10 collectives and 22 individuals.
